Description : In all types of Spellwork, there are a variety of methods utilized. One that is highly important and for myself, one that I tend to lean towards the most is Elemental Spellwork. The author, Deborah Lipp is a well renowned Wiccan author and Priestess and has also written The Elements of Ritual and The Way of Four, the precursor to this spellbook, as well as appearances on MSNBC and A&E documentaries. She is definitely on her mark as this is a great companion book to have and read.
Throughout this book, you will learn the qualities of the elements and something that I was very happy to see, the Fifth Element was described as well as other Elementals, such as Sylphs, Salamanders, Undines and Gnomes. But there is much more than those subjects entwined within this books pages. From What is a Spell and how they work to setting one up and preparation of tools and ingredients a spellcaster would utilize. There is just so much information in this book that it’s incredible. Complete sections devoted to each element and of course, one close to my heart in the Fire section is the enormous amount of information on Candle Magic as well as a section on Spells that Burn Things and when do burning spells as a sacrifice, release or transformation.
There is a great amount of reference material as well including graphs, illustrations and an in=depth section on a variety of Gods and Goddesses by quite a few different cultures.
This is a great book, one that anyone who practices any type of spellwork should have in his or her library. It’s well delivered, easy to comprehend and there is so much material in this book that you could utilize, I strongly suggest reading this book and adding it to your library.
