Well, originally, I was drawn to DE because of my interest in Vampirism, but after going through the site, i realized that it held so much information which came in so useful that it is now like my second home... So I am now drawn to DE because of "All of the Above" reasons! :)

I came to meet others who live in the dark. I've tried on other sites (my space, vampirefreaks) and they , as I'm sure most know, SUCKED !! But I love it here, so I'm not going any where.

I felt that I had a gap within myself like I didn't know what I was, I started to focus a little and eventually I realised that my blood drinking might be something more than simple cravings, so once I found it I instantly felt this community is one to which I belong.

I chose All of the above, but it really comes down to Vampyrism and the Occult. Both are subjects that I have been interested in for years and have studied when- and where ever I can.

I found this site when looking for vampiric layouts for myspace.com and was shocked to see that this was much more as well as very pleased. I was first interested in this when a neighbor that I babysat for gave me her Wiccan Bible to read and then her mother told me of the Vamp society that she participated in I was about 9 then and my facination with all things otherworldly grew. The christian sociaty was a farce and annoyace to me but because of the beliefs of my family I had to endure. Too many things they said and did were not adding up so I turned to Vamps and Wicca and several other things for guidiance and it was hard because I was forced to hide my thoughts now I can learn even more at this site. So to whoever made this site many a thanks....

I originally came here at the suggestion of my sister in law, (DarkMoonFaerie) as I had questions about some things I was personally going through, and to meet other people who are likeminded. I became a member because this is a wonderfully friendly and informative site.

Although I voted that I found this website through the interest in Vampyres, I don't entirely believe myself. I believe that I stumbled upon this website for Occult reasons as well as Vampirism, & I think that I was looking for a little something different that I can't place words with. No, perverts, it's not a "boody-call", lol.... I think that I was looking for somthing to sooth my "blood temper", I get these weird sensations that I want to kill or drink of someone really badly, so I go on the internet to quiet the beast, & it actually works, but that's only at school.
