Merry Meet to all the newest members of DE and welcome. I've been away on vacation, so couldn't be around to greet everyone individually. I hope you're all having fun wandering around the many halls of this wonderful site, making new friends, and learning about all kinds of interesting topics.

Oh, we drove through Ohio (I-70) going to and from Utah. Sorry to say that the only memorable things were the rain, and the highway patrol. No, we didn't get a ticket, but they were keeping an eye on out of state plates. |

Yea Ohio is nice but it dpeneds on where you are. The State Troopers mean well, a nthey do a great job. After my parents accident and everything they've done for me an my family, I really can't complain about all but two. LOL. But yes I hope you had a good holiday in Utah nad I'm glad to hear from the sounds of it a safe trip there and back.
Hello to the new memebers trust me its a great groupd of people here, I know a few from other sites and they are a very well informed group and will help you alot!

Well Sheblackdragon, the weather in Moab, Utah (our vacation spot) was absolutely wonderful, a bit hot during the day, but not in the Canyonlands, and the desert was just so peaceful. We did have a 10 minute thunderstorm one day, followed by a duststorm, and it was just exciting being in the center of it all. Crazy ole me, I even brought back a tumbleweed for a decoration in my sunroom, and, of course, sagebrush.
Big hugs to you BeautifulDowngrade. It was very hard getting back to work, even getting back onto the internet, but little by little and keeping mellow.....well, as mellow as I can get.  |

I would love to see the peaceful deserts and even a tumble weed!!
I am from the UK - England and have never been to America it sounds lovely. Maybe one day when I can afford it? lol... (I pause for a moment to dream of gorgeous vast lands as far as the eye can see) x |

Sheblackdragon, it makes such a big difference to actually see things that one has only heard about or seen in photos. I hope you get to come to the USA one day too, but I must laugh, as one of my big dreams is to take at least a month off and visit England, Scotland and Wales......one day...one day. |
