| I have always been told, and have read here on the posts, that as long as you have the will you can basically do anything. Which really brings up a question of is it possible to have the elements bend to your will? |

Not really sure. From what I know from magic, the affects are subtle and bending Elements to ones will... I guess it depends. Not really sure, I'm not one for practicing much.

Bending the elements to your will? IMHO, that would be rather arrogant.
In magicks, you may at times need assistance from the elements, perhaps the deities themselves, and they give it from free will, choice. There is a sharing bond in which all respect all. But to insult them by trying to dominate, not only is it rude, but it's just asking for trouble.

I am going to agree with the lovely LWW here... To try to bend the elements to your will is asking for some serious karmatic effects that I personly would want nothing to do with.
Growing up I was always raised to respect the elements, while being told that you create your own reality. That pretty much translates to the "mundane" version of " where there is a will there is way."
However before you think of being the elements to your will, do think about the reprocussions. |

It's of my opinion that through a strong enough will, ANYTHING is possible.
That isn't quite to say that it SHOULD be done, just possible. Like others here, I would like to point out the karmatic issues involved here. Unless you don't believe in karma, in which case... go ahead and do what you want.
Just, you know, don't be around me when something you don't believe in comes back to bite you in the ass 
(Not saying you don't believe in karma, but I actually know some people who don't... and according to them, none of the stuff they've ever done has ever had any serious reprecussions directed towards them and I just wonder how much built up doom they're creating upon themselves lol) |

Not that it's a bad question. I'm sure we've all asked it at some point, but I agree with the others that it might be possible but would you really want that sort of responsibility and the consequences that follow with it. I for one would not.
I simply ask the deities to grant me use or energy from the elements if I feel that I truly need them. If they say yes, then great, and if not then my request is not an honest one.
As for the 3 am questions, have you ever tried to sleep at 3 am, lol  |

I agree, I would never consider myself one almightly above the elements as they have been here since the beginning of time and we all know how much power then have. That would in my opinion, be quite rude and arrogant of me to assume that they would bend and turn their will totally over to me. Now, as far as asking and requesting their assistance, that I do all the time, but I request it of them and not demand it.
As for sleeping at 3 AM..lol..I see 3 AM on a regular basis...grins. |

I kind of agree with the others on asking for permission. If you're just asking to mess around with people or mess around period, then that for sure will and can get you into trouble. |

| If you trully wanted to do this I don't think you would approach it in a "dominant" way. Why couldn't you play with the elements as long as you feel a deep respect for it as well as giving some of your own energy to it. As long as you respect what your playing with and you don't exploit it theres no reason not to use your ability to manipulate it. |

| But will it be possible to manipulate the elements, like moving water... or can you only manipulate elemental energy's? and would that be bending the element or yust manipulate it? |

| Hmmm I don't know actually. I think manipulation and bending are the same thing but that is my opinion. |
